The Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile has 137 years of experience, standing out both in Chile and Latin America for its academic excellence, benefits, scholarships, infrastructure, and international projection, through strategic alliances with major universities worldwide. With 39 Doctoral Programs in different areas of knowledge, the UC has over 800 research projects with external funding currently in process, around 2,632 WOS scientific articles in 2023, and 3,279 in Scopus in 2024.

Office of the Vice President for Research and Graduate Studies
The Office of the Vice President for Research and Graduate Studies is responsible for developing and implementing the University’s doctoral training, research and creation, innovation, and transfer policies, as well as its national and international collaboration policies for research and postgraduate studies. It also promotes and implements academic policies related to publications, artistic creation, intellectual property, and all multidisciplinary research and knowledge development at UC Chile and its regional centers and stations.
